This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Physiotherapist to work within a small team in the community setting. The Home Physiotherapy Service is part of Manchester Local Care Organisation (MLCO) and Adult Specialist Community Services of Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking and adaptable individual with a broad range of clinical experience and with a special interest in adult rehabilitation to join our service. The post holder would be expected to work as an autonomous clinician, using accurate analytical skills and clinical reasoning to interpret assessment findings, making diagnoses where appropriate, identifying patient problems, setting goals, and providing an appropriate treatment plan and progression. Previous experience within the community is preferable however the ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and sound understanding of multi-agency working is a requirement of the post with experience of working with patients with complex rehabilitation needs including, elderly, orthopaedics, respiratory and neurological conditions. Successful candidates must have an ability to work 30 hours (0.8WTE) across 4 days including Monday and Friday. A valid driving licence and access to a car for work purposes are required.

Physiotherapist – Essential Requirements:
Must be HCPC Registered.
Must have a Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy.
Must have experience working at post-graduate diploma level.
Must have a minimum of two years post graduate clinical experience.
Must have previously held a position as a Band 6 Physiotherapist.
Must have evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
